There is good news for the wildlife lovers. The famous Pench National Park in Madhya Pradesh has good news to share. As per the initial wildlife census at Pench it is presumed that the total number of Tigers in Pench National Park have reached nearly 100 this year. At the Pench buffer and core zone the strength of the Tigers have reached approximately 50 to 60 in numbers.

According to the Park management the esteemed organization WIIA has started the wildlife census in the march 2014 and they have installed
more that 100 cameras at the Park premises which extends to the borders of Seoni, Chindwara in Madhya Pradesh and some areas in Maharashtra state. The compilation of this process will take at least 7 to 8 months. So the final result is awaited until then.

The officers in charge have said that the census which has been done at Pench landscape is not aimed for just one place but the organization has made the census in the other parks of India as well and it will take some time for the census results to be declared.

The tourist arrival in Pench is good. Over hear around 5 to 6 thousand domestic tourist comes every month whereas the numbers of foreign tourist is more that 400 hundred every month.
